Character Coins, also called Baby Coins, are coins that the Yoshis can collect in Yoshi's Island DS. The Yoshi can collect a Baby Coin only with the baby on Yoshi's back that is seen on the coin. Collecting all eight Baby Coins in a world unlocks a minigame in the game's Hard Mode. The thirty-nine coins in the game are evenly distributed among Baby Mario, Baby Peach, and Baby DK. The lowest three coins near the Special Flower are Red Coins #15, #16, #17, but they're low enough it might be safer to snag those with an egg toss. Hop to the next mushroom platform, and jump through the line of coins-including Red Coins #18, #19, & #20 at the top of the arc-as you fall all the way to a locked door at the bottom.

Welcome to the Yoshi’s New Island Red Coins, Flowers & Stars locations guide that helps you find 100% of the Red Coins, Smiley Flowers & Stars locations for the Xbox 360, PS3 & PC first-person shooter game.
Here’s how many of the Red Coin, Smiley Flower & Star locations there are in each level:
* 20 Red Coins per level. Red Coins are hidden inside some of Yoshi’s Gold Coins. – As a bonus you’ll get a 1UP extra life for every 100 Yoshi Coins you collect.
* 5 Smiley Flowers tokens in each course. – If you get them all in one go on your very first try, you’ll get a red flower stamp at the end of the level.
* 20 Stars per level. – The more Stars you get, the more time you have to get Baby Mario back, if he gets separated from Yoshi after an enemy attack.
Then move down and go all the way back to the platform where you got those 3 red coins with your egg. Now head all the way on the right for the last FLOWER PETAL. Jump onto that platform and then up to a rotating platform. Hit the switch again once you're on the other side. Yoshi s island 3ds.
